Job Description:
Position Overview: As a Junior Shopify Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the company’s eCommerce platform. This role requires experience with Shopify and the Liquid Template Language, along with a strong foundation in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. You will work closely with the development team to create seamless, user-friendly web experiences that align with the company’s brand and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the company’s eCommerce platform using Shopify and Liquid Template Language.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to implement new features and improve existing ones.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the website and web applications.
- Optimize the website for speed, performance, and scalability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, tools, and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
- Ensure that the website is responsive and provides a seamless user experience across all devices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
- Experience with Shopify and Liquid Template Language is required.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A passion for learning and staying current with the latest web development technologies.
