Job Description


Our client, which is the product marketing space, is seeking a Senior Merchandising Licensing Manager to lead licensing initiatives for North America. This role focuses on developing and managing licensing opportunities across diverse categories, ensuring artists and brands are represented with creativity, consistency, and market impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead licensing strategy and execution across categories such as fashion, streetwear, footwear, accessories, luxury goods, electronics, sporting goods, and food/beverage.

  • Identify, negotiate, and secure licensing deals with top manufacturers to drive revenue growth.

  • Research market trends, assess white space opportunities, and analyze the evolving retail landscape.

  • Manage licensee onboarding, product development coordination, and ongoing relationship management.

  • Collaborate with internal teams on deal approvals, brand management, and marketing initiatives.

  • Forecast and plan business performance across categories to meet and exceed revenue goals.

  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to strengthen partnerships and identify trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.

  • 5–8 years’ experience in entertainment licensing, with category expertise in apparel, footwear, accessories, luxury goods, and food/beverage.

  • Proven track record in licensing deal negotiation, brand management, and revenue generation.

  • Strong industry knowledge, preferably within entertainment and kids’ brands.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and PowerPoint (MediaBox a plus).

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
