Job Description:
Position Overview: As an Attorney, you will play a crucial role in representing clients in insurance claim litigation cases. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of legal cases, from initial consultation through to resolution. This role requires a deep understanding of insurance law, excellent litigation skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality legal services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in insurance claim litigation, including commercial and residential property insurance claims.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.
- Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Handle all aspects of discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and document requests.
- Present cases in court, including arguing motions and representing clients in trials.
- Negotiate settlements and mediations on behalf of clients.
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients throughout the litigation process.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure effective case management.
- Stay current with developments in insurance law and relevant legal precedents.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the state where the position is located.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in insurance claim litigation or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of insurance law and litigation procedures.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage a high caseload and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.
