Job Description


We are looking for a Business Analyst to support a project for our client that is a Medical Company in Los Angeles, CA. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

As a Business Analyst (PLM), you will be responsible for working within the framework of the Product Lifecycle Management team and performing the following activities:

• During your first 30 days, you will spend time onboarding, training and familiarizing yourself with departmental processes, system landscapes and compliance requirements

• In the first 60 days, you will be learning business processes and relevant software technologies and participating in implementation discussions of new systems, process improvements and solutions within SAP PLM and other applications

• In the first 90 to 180 days, you will have made key contributions by designing, configuring, and developing components of critical enterprise applications projects such as SAP Document Management System (Document Info. Record), SAP Engineering Change Management (Engineering Records), SAP Engineering Control Center (ECTR), Multiple Active Revisions, Product Configuration Management, and Model Centric Dashboards

• On an ongoing basis, you will be supporting and implementing system change requests related to various Engineering applications and processes

Technical Skills:

• Bachelor’ s degree with an emphasis in Business, Computer Science, Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or Management Information Systems

• Hands-on experience working on projects, configuration, support of SAP PLM, Teamcenter PLM, or similar PLM application in a full life cycle implementation with recent releases of SAP

• Experience using NWBC/SAP Business Client, SAP Document Management System, Document Info. Record (DIRs), SAP Enterprise Search, SAP Engineering Records, BOM Redlining, Material Masters, and Change Numbers

• Experience using SOLIDWORKS

• Experience using CAD integration tools, such as, SAP CDESK or SAP ECTR

• Excellent business process design experience using SAP, Teamcenter, or similar application

• Demonstrated organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

 

Preferred:

 

• Having CSWA or CSWP certification is a plus

• Having SAP certifications is a plus

• Experience with S/4 HANA PLM Applications

• Experience in debugging SAP code to troubleshoot issues

• Experience in managing relationships with business partners and stakeholders
