Job Description:
Position Overview: The ERSEA Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that the Enrollment, Recruitment, Selection, Eligibility, and Attendance (ERSEA) processes are effectively managed and compliant with federal and state regulations. This position requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who can manage data, generate reports, and support the overall implementation of ERSEA services. The role is based in Los Angeles, CA, and requires onsite work five days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation of the ERSEA processes, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Manage and maintain accurate enrollment and attendance records, ensuring data integrity and timely updates.
- Collaborate with families, staff, and community partners to support the recruitment and enrollment of eligible children.
- Monitor and analyze ERSEA data to identify trends, areas of improvement, and compliance issues.
- Generate accurate and timely reports related to ERSEA activities, providing insights and recommendations for program improvement.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to ERSEA.
- Provide training and technical assistance to staff on ERSEA-related topics and processes.
- Participate in program audits and reviews, ensuring all documentation and processes are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with the management team to support the overall implementation and success of the program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Education, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ERSEA or a related role within a child care or educational setting.
- Strong understanding of federal and state regulations related to ERSEA processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in data management and reporting, with experience using relevant software and tools.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with families, staff, and community partners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
