Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop firmware for embedded Linux systems with video streaming and SIP capabilities
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to integrate firmware with hardware, software, and other systems
- Design, develop and maintain firmware for 8/16/32 bit microcontroller-based products
- Troubleshoot and resolve firmware-related issues
- Verify embedded firmware works with hardware
- Document features, issues, and operation of firmware
- Transfer knowledge to others within the company
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of experience in firmware development for embedded Linux systems
- Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming languages
- Knowledge of network protocols
- Experience with Git and issue tracking systems (Jira/Confluence)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn new skills and programming languages
- Experience with network protocols such as TCP/IP, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, etc.
- Analog and Digital circuit design (create schematics, source components, evaluate topology for circuit board layout).
- Microchip PIC Microcontrollers
- SIP VoIP (Session Initiation Protocol)
