Our client is a leading provider of Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies (DMEPOS) services, committed to delivering high-quality healthcare solutions. They are looking for a talented Full Stack Go Engineer to join their dynamic team and contribute to the development of innovative healthcare applications.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Go Engineer for a contract role with our client in Troy, MI or Detroit, MI. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and maintaining web applications using GoLang, a modern web application front-end framework, and PostgreSQL or another RDBMS. This hybrid position requires 2-3 days onsite work, with the remainder remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using GoLang.
- Work with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, Vue, or React to build responsive user interfaces.
- Design and implement back-end services and APIs using RESTful Web Services and/or GraphQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to optimize application performance.
- Contribute to the architectural design of microservices-based applications.
- Implement and maintain database solutions using PostgreSQL or another RDBMS.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and best practices.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and frameworks, and bring new ideas to the team.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in GoLang development.
- Proficiency with a modern web application front-end framework (Angular, Vue, React, etc.).
- Experience with PostgreSQL or another RDBMS.
- Preferred experience in Angular 6+ (heavily preferred).
- Experience building microservices-based applications.
- Experience with API development via RESTful Web Services and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with 2-3 days onsite.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Angular 6+.
- Familiarity with building microservices-based applications.
- Experience in API Development via RESTful Web Services and/or GraphQL APIs.
