Job Description
Responsibilities
• They create and lead teams to accomplish prescribed outcomes, aligned to strategy, while achieving financial, quality and schedule goals
• Their intimate knowledge of the business mission and the disciplines within technology allows them to lead, influence and negotiate outcomes across the development of scope, refinement of project requirements, development of estimates and plans, formulation of schedules, and completion of design, development, testing, and deployment of capabilities/solutions
• Leads moderately complex projects and has accountability for the estimating, planning, scheduling, tracking, management of risk, budget, change management, problem solution, reporting and communicating
• Manages interdependencies within their projects
• Provides transparency and reporting to overall governance and steering structure Communication
• Leads the interaction with business partners, project team members, other IT colleagues, and external vendors to ensure clarity of the business problem, outcome, and scope by demonstrating the understanding of business strategies
Qualifications
• At least seven (7) years IT project management experience and eight (8) years of IT industry experience
• Systems strategies on key technologies and makes recommendations to upper management
• Developing tools, processes and best practices in the project management disciplines
• Excellent follow-through skills; excellent independent and collaborative problem-solving skills; detail-oriented; action-oriented
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching; demonstrate excellent people management skills
• Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both orally and in writing
• System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Team Management for performance
• Dynamic personality with strong relationship management ability
• Supervisory, IT Project Management Skills
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field a PLUS
