They are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Administrator to join their team on a contract basis, focusing on enhancing and managing their IT security infrastructure.

Job Description:

Position Overview: As an IT Security Administrator, you will play a critical role in securing the client's IT environment, focusing on building and fine-tuning Conditional Access policies in Microsoft Entra ID, managing Microsoft InTune for endpoint management, and deploying/updating applications through Azure App Services. This remote role requires working hours in the CST or EST time zones.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage Conditional Access policies in Microsoft Entra ID to enhance security and compliance.
  • Administer and maintain Microsoft InTune for endpoint management, supporting 200-300 users.
  • Deploy and update applications using Azure App Services, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless updates.
  • Fine-tune security configurations and provide consultancy on best practices for IT security.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Stay current with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to ensure the client's IT infrastructure remains secure.
  • Provide training and support to users on security best practices and policies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security administration or a similar role.
  • Extensive experience building Conditional Access policies in Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft InTune for endpoint management, with experience managing 200-300 users.
  • Experience with Azure App Services for application deployment and updates.
  • Strong understanding of IT security principles, best practices, and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals) are a plus.
