Job Description


Our client is a top-tier global investment management firm in Los Angeles and is seeking an experienced Senior Vice President of Global Infrastructure Engineering & Operations to lead global compute infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. This executive-level role will oversee 24x7x365 operations, infrastructure strategy, lifecycle planning, vendor management, and governance across a global enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead global infrastructure teams with responsibility for monitoring, support, and system performance.

  • Own lifecycle strategies for Dell EMC, Cisco UCS, and VxRail systems across data centers and regional offices.

  • Act as the architecture advisor for infrastructure design, hybrid compute models, and high-availability solutions.

  • Manage MSP, colo, and trading data center relationships.

  • Direct hardware procurement and vendor negotiations, ensuring compliance with contracts and SLAs.

  • Oversee CMDB and IT asset management processes (ServiceNow), ensuring infrastructure currency and accuracy.

  • Drive infrastructure governance, KPIs, budgeting, CapEx forecasting, and operating reviews.

Required Qualifications:

  • 12+ years in IT infrastructure leadership with global scope.

  • Deep expertise in hardware lifecycle management, vendor engagement, and server refresh planning.

  • Strong background with Dell EMC, Cisco UCS, and VxRail.

  • Proven success in cross-functional collaboration with engineering, security, and finance teams.

  • Excellent communication and strategic planning skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience with regulatory compliance environments and hybrid architectures (VMware, Azure, NetApp).

  • Familiarity with ServiceNow and IT asset management tools.

  • Certifications such as ITIL, TOGAF, Cisco, or Dell a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
