This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of the recruitment landscape and the ability to identify candidates who are not only qualified but also passionate about contributing to the well-being of families and children. The position is based onsite in Los Angeles, CA, five days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies tailored to attract qualified candidates for various roles within the organization.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create detailed job descriptions and candidate profiles.
- Source candidates through a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals.
- Conduct initial phone screens and interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and fit with the organization’s culture.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers, providing timely feedback and managing candidate communication throughout the process.
- Assist with the onboarding process, ensuring new hires are well-integrated into the team and organization.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all recruitment activities, candidate interactions, and hiring decisions.
- Stay informed about trends in recruitment and the child care and development services sector to continually refine and improve recruitment practices.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and organizational policies throughout the recruitment process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in recruitment, preferably within the non-profit or child care and development sector.
- Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment, with a strong track record of successful placements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Passion for the mission of supporting families and children through impactful programs.
