Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join their dynamic and fast-paced engineering team focused on driving business growth through innovative technology solutions. This role offers an opportunity to lead the development of scalable systems that enhance user engagement and optimize performance across a variety of digital platforms.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of the team, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and mentoring engineers to drive excellence in software development. You will work across the stack, leveraging modern technologies such as React JS, TypeScript, Postgres, and AWS in a serverless environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Architect, design, and develop scalable backend and frontend systems to support business growth initiatives.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver impactful, high-quality software solutions.

Drive technical decision-making, best practices, and process improvements within the engineering team.

Optimize and maintain applications using React JS, TypeScript, Postgres, and AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and S3.

Mentor and support engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Conduct technical reviews, provide feedback, and ensure high coding standards and software quality.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.

Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on backend development and distributed systems.

Deep expertise in TypeScript, Postgres, and AWS services.

Strong understanding of system architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.

Proven ability to lead technical projects from concept to deployment.

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Effective communication and leadership abilities in a collaborative environment.

Experience with growth-focused engineering projects or A/B testing frameworks is a plus.
