Job Description
Our client, a leading cloud technology firm, is seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Lead to join their team. This hybrid role requires working both onsite and remotely, providing an excellent balance of flexibility and collaboration. The Technical Delivery Lead will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of complex cloud technology projects, ensuring they meet client expectations and business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of cloud technology projects, from initial planning to final implementation and support.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including clients, technical teams, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and work to mitigate them effectively.
- Ensure that cloud solutions align with business goals, technical requirements, and best practices.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status, technical challenges, and delivery milestones.
- Drive continuous improvement in the delivery process, focusing on optimizing efficiency and productivity.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and methodologies to provide the most innovative and scalable solutions to clients.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment by mentoring junior team members and fostering innovation.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in technical delivery roles, with a focus on cloud technologies.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale cloud-based solutions to clients.
- Strong technical knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the ability to adapt to changing project needs.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Solid understanding of technical project management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives in technical delivery.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Docker).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Previous experience in a client-facing consulting role is highly desirable.
