Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Engineering to lead a remote-first engineering organization of 60+ offshore engineers. This is a key leadership role responsible for aligning technical execution with business outcomes, driving architectural excellence, and fostering a high-performance engineering culture.
Responsibilities:

Translate business goals into scalable engineering strategies and outcomes

Define and execute the technical roadmap in alignment with executive leadership and product teams
-
Guide 5–6 senior engineering managers and support cross-functional collaboration
-
Ensure architectural and engineering excellence across systems, tools, and platforms
-
Champion best practices in software development, testing, scalability, and security
-
Drive process improvements in delivery velocity, release management, and vendor operations
-
Promote a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
-
15+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in senior engineering leadership (VP or above)

Proven success managing a distributed engineering organization of 50–100+ team members
-
Expertise in consumer web technologies, system architecture, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure
-
Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills
-
Experience with agile methodologies and building remote-first engineering cultures
-
Willingness to work across time zones and travel for leadership meetings as needed

Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, .NET/C#, Node.js/TypeScript, SQL Server, MongoDB, Cosmos DB, Snowflake, and more.
