Job Description
Essential Job Functions
- Design and build applications for the iOS platform across various devices.
- Develop and architect features that leverage the latest iOS technologies, such as extensions, inter-app communication and more.
- Integrate with the cloud architecture and deploy for new products, apps and e-commerce platforms (Shopify preferred).
- Work closely with product managers and UX team to take an idea from concept to delivery.
- Work with the product development team to design and implement communication protocol between product and servers.
- Work with QC and test engineers to identify and correct bottlenecks, test, fix bugs and make improvements.
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation, as well as the servers for ecommerce and IoT operations.
Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Articulate, precise and consistent communication with immediate and broader teams.
- 2-4 years of professional iOS app development experience.
- Developed at least one complete network-based iOS app, available in the App Store.
- Android app development with Kotlin (Good to have)
- Experience with iOT devices (Good to have)
- Experience with Core Animation (Good to have)
- Database: DynamoDB (Must have)
- Languages:
- Objective C / Swift (Must have)
- Python / Jacascript / React / ES6 (Good to have)
- AWS:
- Lambda, IoT Core, API Gateway (Must haves)
- IoT analytics, S3, Elastic Cloud Compute, Quicksight, Route 53, CodePipeline (* At least some experience with some of the listed)
- IDE: XCode (Must have)
- Cloud Services: AWS (Must have)
- Others: GitHub (Must have)
