We are looking for a BI Engineer to support a project for our client that is a large medical University in Portland, OR.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The BI System Engineering responsibilities of this position include working closely with other ITG and BIAA team members to apply advanced technical experience and knowledge to coordinate the development, maintenance and monitoring of complex and critical BI data sources and integration processes. Throughout these efforts a high degree of attention will be required to ensure new applications, code and updates are tested and applied accurately, that security and access are maintained as expected, and that all components of the system perform efficiently and with minimal downtimes.
- Minimum two years paid work experience as an Application Engineer (or equivalent classification) using an Enterprise BI integration tools (Data Factory, SSIS, IBM Infosphere, etc.)
- Three or more years of experience developing processes to maintain data in a dimensional data warehouse using Microsoft tools
- More than two years of experience working with an Azure Modern Data Warehouse using Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Bricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, or Azure Analysis Services, etc. Including experience developing using T-SQL, Python, Scala, Spark SQL or .Net
