Job Description
Our client, a leading provider of full-service event and meeting management solutions for Fortune 500 companies and global organizations, is seeking an IT Manager to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity to oversee and elevate the technology operations that support their fast-paced, client-focused environment. The successful candidate will work in the office to begin and then transition to a hybrid work schedule.
About the Role
The IT Manager will lead a team of three, manage the organization’s IT infrastructure, and ensure secure, reliable, and scalable systems. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills, with a passion for driving innovation and efficiency in a collaborative workplace.
Key Responsibilities

Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals.

Systems Oversight: Maintain and optimize hardware, software, and network environments.

Security: Develop and enforce security protocols to protect company data and operations.

Projects: Lead IT projects including infrastructure upgrades, deployments, and improvements.

Support: Provide high-level troubleshooting and support across the organization.

Vendor Management: Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and service agreements.

Disaster Recovery: Develop and test business continuity and data backup strategies.
-
Budget Management: Plan and manage IT budgets effectively.

Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.

Technology Strategy: Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance operations.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s or certifications such as ITIL, Cisco, Microsoft, etc. a plus).

5+ years of IT management or leadership experience.

Strong technical skills across Windows environments, networking, and cloud services.

Knowledge of Cisco Meraki, G-Suite, and Windows systems.

Familiarity with Microsoft servers, Exchange, O365, VMware, Avaya, and network security tools a strong plus.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or CCNA highly desirable.
