Job Description
Our client, a private equity and infrastructure investment firm specializing in North American water management, surface management, powered land, and sustainable infrastructure sectors, is seeking an experienced IT Operations Specialist to support their growing technology environment.
This is a fully onsite position based in Houston, TX, ideal for a hands-on technical professional with strong problem-solving skills, exceptional customer service, and the ability to ensure smooth and secure IT operations in a fast-paced, investment-driven setting.
Key Responsibilities

Provide end-user support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents with accuracy and urgency.

Assist with system and network monitoring, maintenance, and optimization to ensure peak performance.

Deploy and configure workstations, servers, and other IT infrastructure components.

Maintain detailed documentation of IT configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions.

Collaborate with internal teams to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

Ensure compliance with IT security standards and data protection policies.
Qualifications
-
5+ years of experience in IT operations, technical support, or network administration.

Strong understanding of Windows and/or Linux environments, network protocols, and enterprise hardware.

Experience with system deployment, user administration, and troubleshooting tools.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a customer-focused mindset.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications

CompTIA certifications (A+, Network+, or Security+) or equivalent credentials.

Experience with virtualization, cloud services (AWS, Azure), or enterprise IT systems is a plus.
Working Conditions
-
Onsite 5 days per week at the client’s Houston City Centre office.

Occasional travel required to the Data Center in Spring, TX.

Standard business hours with limited after-hours support as needed.
